100 years ago Fanny Brice on top of the world with this song reaching #6 on the Pop charts and her other song "My Man" reaching #1. Fanny is credited with being the inspiration for the Broadway musical Funny Girl which is then credited for making Barbara Streisand a star. The show has recently been brought back to the Broadway stage with a new main actress, Beanie Feldstein, who has some huge shoes to fill. Fanny must have been one amazing person to have her influence flow through all the years from 1922 to today.
